Practice Sessions

During the winter months, we practise weekly at St. John's Church, Bloomfield Road, Kingston-upon-Thames, on Monday evenings, from 8.30pm until 10:00pm. This is usually followed by a couple of pints in the local Young's public house, The Spring Grove. Our practice sessions are free; alas, the same is not true of the beer...

We welcome new dancers and musicians of every age, either sex and any ability. Please do contact us before travelling, to ensure that the session is still going ahead. We recommend contacting us a few days before an event if at all possible, to improve the chance of your e-mail being read in good time.

If you are coming for the first time, please meet us at the side door of the church, in Springfield Road, at about 8:30pm. The main entrance to the church, on Grove Lane, is used only during the church services. Click here for a map of the area, or here for another one.

During the summer months, typically from April to September, we dance out on Monday evenings at pubs around the Kingston area (and sometimes further afield). Please see our programme for more details, or get in touch if you need further information.
